Control of Asbestos Regulations

The Control of Asbestos Regulations require the management of asbestos materials in non-domestic premises. This duty extends to the common areas of housing developments and blocks of flats.

An Asbestos Management Survey is necessary to identify any asbestos materials, so they can be effectively managed.

Our Asbestos Survey Report will:

• Identify asbestos-containing materials within the premises
• Assess the likelihood of anyone being exposed to asbestos
• Provide you with a written record of the location and condition of these materials

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order

The Order utilises a new risk-based approach to fire safety and affects employers and those who are responsible for non-domestic, industrial, commercial and residential premises. 

At the core of the legislation lies the requirement for a Fire Risk Assessment. 

Our Fire Risk Assessment will:

• Identify fire safety hazards
• Make reasonable recommendations to reduce the risk of hazards causing harm 
• Suggest fire precautions and arrangements necessary to ensure the safety of people in your premises if a fire does start
